 Silhouette Software Basic Requirements


Before you visit its manufacturing sites, for example, silhoueteamerica.com/setup or silhouetteamerica.com/software, make sure your system follows the below requirements;

  • Operating System- Windows 8. 8.1, 10, and Windows 11.
  • Mac OS X 10.14 and higher 
  • Processor- 2 GHz or faster processor speed
  • Memory- 4 GB of RAM
  • Space- 2 GB hard disk space 
  • USB- minimum USB 2.0 Port

Connect Silhouette Via Bluetooth

You can connect Silhouette to PC wirelessly. It requires Bluetooth-enabled windows or mac PCs. Bluetooth 4.0 is compatible with Silhouette. If your device is Bluetooth enabled, press the Bluetooth button on your Silhouette machine and follow the below instructions;

Windows PC –

  1. Open the start menu in Windows.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Click on Devices and open the “Bluetooth & other devices” option.
  4. Click on Bluetooth and look for your Silhouette model.
  5. Select your Silhouette machine name and click connect.

Mac PC –

  1. Enable the Bluetooth symbol.
  2. Open the Apple menu.
  3. Click on System Preferences and open Security & Privacy.
  4. Click Privacy.
  5. Open Bluetooth and click on Add.
  6. Select your Silhouette model and click Pair.
